Jon began working for the Wildflower Center after completing a yearlong term with AmeriCorps. He worked with what is now called the Texas Conservation Corps (TCC) restoring habitat, removing invasive species, and building trails in state and city parks across Texas.

He joined the Wildflower team during the construction of the Texas Arboretum, which is where you can find him most of the time. When not taking care of business among the oaks, he’s often playing and teaching music, exploring Texas parks, or dancing with his wife.
